This came up in my FB memories today, from 14 years ago. Back when Mint had a KDE edition. It was KDE 4.7.4 but I managed to make it look halfway decent. They dropped the KDE edition a long time ago.

Mint had a few really good releases back in the day. There was even one where they did a really nice job on customizing Gnome 2.
I didn't much like KDE 4 at the time, but later iterations of it were better and it could be made to look nice.
New stuff used to be fun... now I dread it, it's usually a drag.
