Wow, I'm glad he's going to be OK. You can get really hurt on an escalator, on the edges of those stairs.

I used to like to run up the down escalator when I was younger. Anything to be defiant. I wiped out pretty good once, but I have always seemed to have a knack for instinctively protecting myself during a fall. I just kind of rolled with it (it's subconsious). The escalator police (whoever those people were lol) came and gave me shit for the horseplay though.

I'm now seeing more and more imbeciles claiming the floods are the result of "weather manipulation" by "them".
The cognitive dissonance is staggering. They will accept and loudly proclaim that someone, either the "deep state" or "Democrats" have machines that can steer tornados and trigger massive floods (cloud seeding comes up as "proof" repeatedly), but still deny anthropomorphic climate change with blind rage.

It's incredibly stupid, and things like this are being fueled by the MAGAT misinformation machine. There are militias attacking weather radar towers because they claim they are influencing the weather. Oh, and "chemtrails" are still a thing.

Willfully ignorant boobs. I'd go so far as to say that there's a huge population of Americans that celebrate ignorance... and demand that everyone else be brought down to their level. Burn the books.

P.S. Cloud seeding doesn't cause flash floods. It simply causes water to precipitate sooner with less cloud saturation by seeding the formation of larger particles (be they liquid or ice crystals). So maybe they can trigger it to start raining BEFORE it passes over agricultural areas rather than later, but it doesn't cause clouds to suddenly rain 10 times more than the moisture they contain etc.

MAGA will harass you if you aren't mourning hard enough. Seriously, they are doxxing and cyberbullying people who are making negative comments about Charlie Kirk. Orchestrated by Laura Loomer and Enrique Tarrio. (the seditionist leader of the Proud Boys that Trump pardoned from his 20 year sentence). "You'll wish you never opened your mouth!". They are causing people to be harassed and even fired from their jobs (companies will just ditch people rather than bear negative publicity and the wrath of MAGA nowadays)

There's a word for what people like Charlie Kirk (and Donald Trump and his minions!) engage in. It's called "stochastic terrorism". Their rhetoric is meant to incite others to ostracize and/or commit acts of violence against individuals and groups of people they hate.

Fuck them all. They won't be on the side of power, or be protected by a criminal government forever and when this regime eventually falls (like they all do), they'll be STFU'ing pretty hard.

I just heard Stephen King is facing threats of lawsuits and harassment because of comments about Charlie Kirk, simply criticizing American gun violence and Kirk's vile proclamations. He didn't actually condone the murder or anything.

They are claiming that Kirk didn't say those things, or you don't understand them if he did (i.e. "condemning" cherry picking quotes from the bible... fuck off, he has said it was "God's perfect law", stoning them to death) and are urging the "estate" of Charlie Kirk to sue for defamation.

They don't care, when they need fodder for the wars they are likely going to start, they'll just institute conscription.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth told staff to find and identify military members, and any individual associated with the Pentagon, who have mocked or appeared to condone Charlie Kirk’s murder so they can be punished, according to two defense officials.

Several service members have been relieved of their jobs due to social media posts about Kirk, the officials said.

Hegseth and other senior Pentagon leaders have posted on X calling on others to report any military members or Defense Department staffers who post anything that could be interpreted as unsympathetic toward Kirk’s death.

Dozens of service members and civilian Pentagon employees have been called out on X, with their posts about Kirk highlighted and collected under the hashtag #RevolutionariesintheRanks.

I think this has gone past the point where Americans can do anything about it. These creeps aren't going to let you vote them out. This regime will probably keep going until there is international intervention (but fear not, they'll bring that on themselves).

At the World Economic Forum reception dinner, in a rambling speech about himself he said "Sometimes you need a dictator" and because nobody interrupted him or said anything, he thinks it was a great speech that got great reviews.

I wish he'd have doubled down on his Greenland stance because it would put an end to him sooner. He's like a child that puts his hand on a stove element to test it, and yanks it back when there is pain. He gets away with that every fucking time.
