Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
CBS' new corporate owner has taken a series of concrete steps to address the concerns of the news division's sharpest critics — particularly President Trump and his allies.

Re: Lenovo Thinkpad 11e
It fits in the casing though it sits slightly high, it's not by much but that could be a problem when putting the back cover back on since there's not much room for error. Some of that comes from the sticky pad they attached to it, maybe with that removed it would have enough clearance. But I hit a ...

Re: Lenovo Thinkpad 11e
It's slightly thicker, so it would stick up a little higher, and it has a higher capacity so it would last longer. Diameter should be the same.

Lenovo Thinkpad 11e
I have an old Thinkpad 11e I've had since about 2013, it has an AMD 4 core/4 threads Kabini processor (similar to what was used in the consoles at the time). It's still pretty good, and the power consumption is low even by today's standards. Biggest negative is the small screen size with wide bezels ...

Re: Mini Computers
It would work OK for about 4 or 5 mins before the audio would stop and a dialog box would appear with a message saying roughly "an error has occurred with the playback" and under that a button to report the error. It seemed to be a server-side error message. That site seems to be very script heavy ...

Re: Acer Aspire 15 laptop
Yeah that's becoming more common these days, omitting the Ethernet port. Similar with all the houses I looked at last year, very few of the new construction homes had Ethernet. They figure all the normies are only using wireless now. When I got my previous house all of them had Ethernet in the walls ...

Lately I've had trouble with the Raspberry pi 4 working with the radio streaming site. At first I thought it was just a temporary issue with the site, but it wasn't temporary, and the site worked just fine with any X86_64 machine I tested it with. I considered trying the RP5 but I want to use that ...

That is one way of thinking of it lol! Apparently they don't regurgitate what remains in their stomach (from previous feedings) into their victims prior to slurping up their blood like most other blood sucking insects do.

Chagas Disease
I remember first learning about Chagas disease in a collage class back in the 90's and being glad it wasn't here. Now it's here. It looks like California has the worst of it but it's in at least 29 other states, maybe more since it's not a reportable disease in all states.
