I'm now seeing more and more imbeciles claiming the floods are the result of "weather manipulation" by "them".
The cognitive dissonance is staggering. They will accept and loudly proclaim that someone, either the "deep state" or "Democrats" have machines that can steer tornados and trigger massive ...

Browser options
Ok, I'm starting to think I want to step away from Firefox but am unsure about going back to Chromium as I use the account sync feature to manage links between my desktop and phone browsers. Chromium disabled that some time ago and only retained it on Chrome which is why I went back to Firefox in ...

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
Something I've seen come up a few times over the last day or so is a comment by a retired US sailor commenting on the terrible marching and lack of order from the US Army during the Petulant Ponce's parade. Basically, they pointed out that from day 0 in training they are taught to march in lock step ...

Around 20,000 went to his vanity parade. The seating looked empty, apparently at least in part because people reserved seats and made sure to not show up.
By comparison over 11,000,000 attended the various "No Kings" rallies around the US.

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
The US military pledges allegiance first and foremost to the constitution. Everything else comes after and under that. Trump's use of ICE, his deployment of the National Guard in defiance of the California State Governor, and his deployment of the Marines are violations of law, state rights, and the ...

Re: Black Mesa
I played through HL 1 and 2 on console. The Gonarch and Nihilith end boss fights are MUCH better in Black Mesa than in the original, especially the Gonarch fight. You spend the whole last third of the Gonarch fight scrambling for ammo and hiding under a ledge looking at nothing but four legs and a ...

Re: Black Mesa
Pretty much. It's old school in that regard. There's very little hand-holding anywhere and sometimes the terrain is also deceptive. Sometimes it's also really really specific. In there section where a security guard guides you out of the hanger, if you do exactly what they say you'll get out without ...

Ok, got the last specific area achievement for the Gonarch's Lair. Found all the exploration team's corpses. Can't just run over them, you have to pause and interact with them. Just a tap of the 'E' key but it's easy to run past them.

The achievements in Black Mesa are amusing. I've got all but one for the Gonarch boss area. There's one where you have to let it knock you into the abyss. What the guides DON'T tell you is exactly HOW it has to happen. I got knocked flying multiple times before ...

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
Yes, they should have challenged the results. Trump has a history of accusing anyone that opposes him of doing exactly what he's doing. He repeatedly claimed the Democrats "stole the election" and accused them of trying to do it again this time before they'd even voted. His behaviour is consistent ...

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
I don't think Vance is any smarter than Trump. He's a liar (piece of shit is NOT from Appleacia or anywhere near it) and thought nothing of insulting the traditions of the Marines he claimed to be so aligned with. What he is, is the puppet of a bunch of tech-bro wannabe oligarchs. THEY are smarter ...

They're as bad as each other. Both are hateful, grotesque, narcissists, but while Musk was able to put Trump in power through manipulating the voting machines, Trump has the power to destroy Musk's empire, send the piece of Nazi shit back to Sith Ifrica, and ban him from ever coming back the the USA ...

Re: Black Mesa
I've been playing this as well and I think it still holds it's own. The ending is also different to the original, as is the Gonarch boss fight part way through the Xen dimension. Same concept but much better executed. It's still a little disturbing being attacked by a four legged crab with a massive ...

You don't actually turn the bars at speed, you do a thing called "counter steering" where you push the right bar to go right and v/v. You'd think it would be the opposite, that pushing the right bar forward would turn you to the left, but it's not.

The R is in very good condition despite a few niggles. The K ... well like I said, it did catch fire while I was riding it. There's things wrong all over the place, from broken mountings to missing screws. I've spent 3/4 of what I paid for it on top just replacing broken or incorrect parts used by ...

So while I do look in occasionally I don't say much. Been busy with stuff and things, daughter, son in law, and granddaughter live with us now.
Aaaaaaanyway ... I accidentally bought another murder-sickle and then deliberately bought one.

Yes, that was planned. To humiliate him and kick him out of the meeting. Vance was fucking smirking. The press is going around saying shit like Zelenskyy was goading them, too.

What's scary is the number of people who think he'll do his four years and leave. He's already pushing to amend the constitution to give himself another term if not longer. Musk is being allowed to put himself in control of everything and steal every last byte of people's private information.

Re: Scottish Leader Sums It Up
The American people were warned and warned and warned what kind of filth he is. His own niece who knows him personally said he is the only person she has ever met that has not a single redeeming quality. He's now openly admitted that he got Musk's help to manipulate the election result. There is at ...
