This was an interesting discussion about free will, or the illusion of free will. It was on FB, it's a clip from a longer video, I couldn't find it on YT.

I haven't watched it yet, but we do have free will. It's not an illusion, it is simply ourselves, that ultimately limit what we will do (whether that's out of goodness, or fear of something etc.) We're partly programmed to follow some kind of social order, though. (I've seen that questioned before, whether we really have free will).

Call it social order, class, or whatever, we have the ability to move between classes or social order. Even within a class, one can move between hierarchies. That movement can be hard work, sheer determination, or just plain luck.
