Shit... I must have been asleep last week. I did watch part of this video, to get the gist and I thought I said something like: That silly virtualization based security messes up the scheduling for those CPUs.

Utterly ridiculous what Microsoft is doing to people with Windows 11.

Look at what this shit does, just from the hardware requirements:

Just for example... all your hardware has to be programmed with an iommu. I don't run Linux like that, I would only enable the iommu/pt when I want to use a VM.
All I/O devices capable of DMA must be behind an IOMMU or SMMU. An IOMMU can be used to enhance system resiliency against memory attacks.
Why would you even want to run Windows if you have to jump through all those hoops.

Yeah it's no surprise how Windows 10 has been regaining ground against Windows 11 as Windows users are switching back.
