Yeah, it's been a long time for Fing. I hope he's OK. It is the internet though, a lot of the time you never know what ever became of someone when they have moved on. It's also ominous, because that's what can happen with Covid, too. Sudden.

I just got an email from one of those ancestry sites (I've been doing quite a bit of genealogy stuff over the last couple of years) and apparently I'm related to Queen Elizabeth II. She was my 13th cousin once removed on my mother's side.
So there's your utterly irrelevant thing for the day.

It doesn't matter for anything, but it is interesting.

I've never gone and looked up my ancestors. I know nothing before great grandparents on both sides of the family.

I started because I wanted to trace my birth parents and did a DNA test. Since then I've discovered a lot of things, actually found and met my father and family on his side (but not my mother, though I have information on her).
Turns out I have a cousin named Bobby Singer as well, not the tv producer just the same name, and am related to Robert de Warren the ballet guy, not that I'm likely to ever meet him but he's my grandmother's cousin.

Heh... someone had to think of that. I haven't seen a 7/11 store in a long time, I used to like them in cities I lived in. They had good little cheeseburgers in foil under heat lamps and stuff. Go there at 4 AM and that was good sustenance

That book cover looks awfully familiar, I think I've seen it somewhere in my years, those How and Why Wonder books were everywhere. I guess the joke there is "Why are the horses running, mommy" (because she farted while reading you a bed time story). That's the only "actual fuck" I can assign a "what" to.
